The following rates are estimates and services are not inclusive of perishable parts such as ropes gaskets and firebricks.
Flue lined wood burning stoves and multi fuel stoves:
Flue lined range cookers including Aga, Rayburn and Esse: Please note that it is important to tie my visit in with your annual service, it is always advisable to have the chimney swept the day before or the morning of a service and not after to ensure appliance is clear of any soot below flue level.
Small unlined open fires and Stoves with pot liners or square masonry chimneys:
Small, unlined open fires, large open fires, Inglenooks and Stoves where removal of the stove is necessary for sweeping and Birds nest removal:
I am sorry but I am so not currently have enough room in my diary to take on this kind of work.
If the defendair 500 air cleaning unit is required for open fires and nest clearances, a charge of £20 may be applied if the pre filter needs to be replaced.
Please note, that as a professionally trained sweep, I am obliged to inform you of any issues that I deem dangerous and how to remedy them. Your certificate will state any problems that I may find, and as such, may not be accepted by your insurer until any suggested work is completed. Please ensure you have a Carbon Monoxide alarm fitted, as I will not deem any appliance safe without one.
Unforeseen complications are very rare, especially in a correctly installed stove with liner. Any unforeseen complications that might arise that cause the sweep to take longer than 45 minutes may have to be finished on another date. If this happens, the full fee will be charged and additional costs discussed. If I have time to deal with unforeseen issues on the day, £50 per additional 30 minutes will be charged.
Key collection is charged at £25.
